Apps for Instagram ("we", "our", or "us") is an independent macOS productivity application distributed through the Mac App Store. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Apps for Instagram is an independent tool and is not affiliated with Meta Platforms, Inc. The app displays Instagram.com inside a native macOS window. Your Instagram login, messages, and all account activity are governed by Instagram's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Instagram® is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.
When you use the AI Reply or Translation features, the selected message text is sent to OpenAI's API to generate a response. Only the text you explicitly submit is sent — no other data leaves your device. OpenAI's data handling is governed by their Privacy Policy.
All app data (preferences, workspaces, subscription status) is stored locally on your Mac using macOS system storage. Nothing is uploaded to our servers. We do not operate any backend servers or databases that store user data.
Subscriptions and one-time purchases are handled entirely by Apple via the Mac App Store. We do not process, store, or have access to your payment information. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time from App Store → Account → Subscriptions.
We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools. We do not track your usage, clicks, or behavior within the app.
This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
